We’re now pleased to share our results with you — and hope it’s of some use for when you’re inevitably going to be staring at the bartender with no idea what to ease your alcoholic tendencies.

Big Easy, Thornbridge Brewery — 0.5%

Light pale ale, but could be more flavoursome considering the ‘lemon, peach and apricot’ description. Weird smell — might just be our bottle/glass combination. 2/5

Libera, Peroni — 0.0%

Lager, with a pleasant taste of wheat and a satisfyingly crisp edge. There are better tasting beers out there though. 2/5

Milk Stout, Big Drop Brewing Co. — 0.5%

Very impressed with the taste from this little bottle. It’s full-bodied, with a rich flavour — stout drinkers won’t be disappointed. 4/5

Ghost Ship, Adnams Brewery — 0.5%

Wow. Were we drinking the full alcoholic version of this drink? It was genuinely hard to tell. Just like the original, it’s packed full of flavour: citrusy, full bodied and with a very satisfying aftertaste. Adnams have knocked this one out of of the park. 5/5

Green Tea and Simcoe, Good Call Soda — 0%

Green Tea-flavoured soda from Manchester, which uses the hops of its alcoholic partner. Very refreshing and light on the tongue. This one is for those who are looking for a slightly more left-field non-alcoholic beverage. 4/5

Erdinger Alkoholfrei, Erdinger <0.5%

If you like wheat beers, you’re in for a treat. This is a very realistic simulation of the real thing, and completely delicious. We’d take this over any alcohol-free lagers when we’re not feeling up for a proper drink. Savoured every drop. 5/5
